This article analyzes Piero Cipriano’s Il libro bolañiano dei morti (2020) as a critical interpretative document and literary representation of the most radicalized phase of de-materialized labor in Italy. Configuring itself as an «unidentified narrative object», the text transcends conventional genre boundaries and proves to be an epistemologically transformative investigative tool. The analysis explores the intersection between the professional and private spheres, which allows the author to direct critical reflection toward social, personal, and philosophical phenomena. The loss of access to physical workspaces is framed in relation to its impact on the collective and individual existence.
